The reign of the V12 is slowly coming to an end, and the death of the Aventador doesn’t give it any more life
After years of speculation, Lamborghini’s flagship has finally come to an end. The final Lamborghini Aventador has rolled off of Lamborghini’s plant in Sant’Agata Bolognese in Italy. After the Felicity Ace sunk 15 Aventadors in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in March of this year, Lamborghini had to make 15 new ones in order to fulfill orders to customers across the globe. This meant the Aventador would survive for just a little bit longer.
And this is the last one. Finished in a custom Azzuro Flake, this LP 780-4 Ultimae is the ultimate Lamborghini sendoff. Delivered to a customer in Switzerland, the final one is meant to emulate the 1968 one-off Lamborghini Miura P400 Roadster. Snazzed up with special Miura badges on the interior, fresh wheels, and an all white interior only a ghost could love all pay homage to the custom concept years ago.
The LP 780-4 Ultimae hoists a 6.5 L V12, something that we will see the death of with this final Aventador. Lamborghini’s next flagship will end having some sort of hybrid assistance, probably churning out more than than the Ultimae’s 769 horses. But does it have the same personality though?
