Brabus’ New P 900 Rocket Makes a TRX Look Measly

If the Ford Raptor didn’t get your cajones to drop… this might

Did you decide the 28% APR on your lifted Ford Raptor wasn’t enough? Or maybe your wife left you and you didn’t get custody of the kids. No matter what kind of man you are this truck (or what’s left of it) will be sure to satisfy your needs.

The skunkworks team at Brabus got real bored one night and decided to concoct this monstrosity of a truck. But hey, my monkey brain sees a lot of red… and I’m sold. Built on the AMG G63 G-Wagon platform by Brabus, the epitome of ridiculous German tuners, this P 900 Rocket Edition is clearly a school project gone too far.

First of all, it turns a SUV into a truck by adding a bed and two stability bars on the rear. Then, Brabus added their “Rocket Edition Widestar” exterior concept to make the P 900 look even more sinister. A huge hood cowl makes the truck look like a T-Rex staring down your face. A lower ride height paired with 24 inch monoblock “aero-disc” wheels give off a certain racecar feel to the G-Wagon.

No, you probably cannot take this around your local racetrack… they’d probably kick you out, but you can take it to a Halloween festival because of all the red that drapes this car inside and out. Looking like the truck quite literally rode through a parade, Brabus’ “Rocket Red” is everywhere. Carbon fiber accent pieces and red LEDs are splattered throughout the truck wherever the Germans saw fit.

In fact, even the sport exhaust tips light up… have you ever seen that before? The 4.5 L twin-turbo V8 pushes out a whopping 900 horsepower, yeah that’ll make something light up. Sprint to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, the same as a TRX, but no cool red LEDs up front. Really lay into it, and it’ll top out at 174 mph, which we sure as hell won’t test because we don’t want to die.

On the inside is where this freak of an idea really comes to fruition. Drowned in duo-tone leather which Brabus itself calls “extravagant” (I think they’re becoming self aware), there’s carbon fiber and red in every nook and cranny of the inside. With all the carbon fiber and red, you’d think a murder happened in there.

The P 900 will be limited to only 10 units… probably for the best of the carbon fiber factory. The truck isn’t their first rodeo playing with a G-Wagon. In fact, they created the G 700 6×6 years ago which featured an extra axle as well as a bonus 2 wheels (obviously). We expect the price of this beast to be way more than we could ever fathom, probably around the ballpark of $500,000 and the orders are already sold out. Brabus has had a history of making interesting vehicles… but this one might just take the cake.
