This may touch a little close to home for us because we owned a C5 Corvette, but we’ve never seen anyone bastardize it like this. Can we even call it that? Because this is just cool. Sometimes, you just have to enjoy a masterpiece.
With cues rivaling the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato that obviously copied this… duh, this fine piece of machinery was put up for sale on Facebook Marketplace— AND SOLD for $8,500, a bargain for the super sports car this used to be. The previous owner who sold it, whose name is Caleb Hodshire also built a C4 Corvette which he also lifted. Seems to be a recurring theme.
The ‘Vette sits on a 4-inch lift and 33-inch Nitto tires that were meant for a Jeep. Also you can clearly see the tacked-on fender flares and the Z71 decal from its Chevy truck brethren. Nice attention to detail! Not sure where the journey of this crazy Corvette goes from here but if it ever surfaces again… we’d be glad to see it.
